All roads lead to the “Best in Bergen” Ramsey Farmers’ Market
on Sunday, August 14th
at the Erie Plaza train station on Main St. Ramsey. Produce Pete, author of Farmacopeia
and News 4 New York contributor, will be at the market from 10-2.
If you haven’t visited in a while, take note that the Ramsey Farmers’ Market is now expanded to over 50 extraordinary local farmers and food purveyors scheduled each Sunday through
November! The variety and quality of our market makes it the “go to” farmers’ market, offering everything from organic and responsibly grown produce, artisan breads and cheeses, fresh fish directly from the Hampton Bays, homemade jams, gourmet olive oil and balsamic vinegar, gluten free baked products, kombucha and kimchi, homemade soups and organic salads, freshly cut flowers, homemade soaps and body products and so, so much more.
Due to popular requests, several “featured” vendors from last season are now joining the market on a more regular basis. Food is always a common denominator and each Sunday, market goers will be able to experience some international flavors such as empanadas, arepas, or samosas, along with plenty of vegan choices. Several new vendors have joined us- Roshler’s Nursery, Cactus Pete’s Beef Jerky, Teagevity, Spoon Me Soups, Pure Delights Soy Candles- just to name a few.
The non profit Ramsey Farmers’ Market is sponsored by the Ramsey Historical Association and supported by the Borough of Ramsey. Visit http://www.ramseyfarmersmarket.org for a complete list of vendors, festival and special events, music, chef demos and dedicated business sponsors. The market is always free and free ample parking is available. Call 201-675-6866 for further information.
