Murray’s CHEESE CAVES TOUR & Tasting – July 9

THIS IS THE FIRST PUBLIC CHEESE CAVES TOUR OFFERED IN MURRAY’S NEW FACILITY!

See for yourself why Conde Nast Traveler named Murray’s Cheese Caves one of the 50 Coolest Places to see in the world as they introduce you to the world of affinage (The Art of Aging Cheese).

Everyone  will meet at the Distribution Center in Long Island City, Queens where you’ll be greeted with tasty mimosas! From there you’ll meet one of the Cavemasters who will lead you on a tour of the caves facility. You’ll learn exactly what goes on in each specially constructed, temperature and humidity controlled cave. Learn about basic affinage practices and the science behind what happens to cheeses as they age.

After the tour, you’ll be lead through a tasting of six Cavemaster Reserve Cheeses so you can see (and more importantly taste) the benefits of the caves team’s hard work.

STRICTLY LIMITED TO 12 ATTENDEES.
(Future tours to be offered monthly)

**PLEASE NOTE THIS CLASS MEETS AT 25-19 BORDEN AVENUE IN LONG ISLAND CITY,
NOT AT THE GREENWICH RETAIL STORE. Transportation to LIC not provided.**

***Closed toed shoes and socks are REQUIRED. Also, as the caves are quite chilly, we recommend bringing an extra outer layer.***

Tickets for this exclusive event are available on Eventbrite.
