Log into your social media accounts, fire up your camera and get ready to share the #JerseyFreshLove this season!
For the last 32 years, the Jersey Fresh program has identified produce grown by Garden State Farmers. The Jersey Fresh symbol shows up in Farmers’ Markets, Supermarkets and even some restaurants. In 2015, New Jersey Secretary of Agriculture Douglas H. Fisher launched the #JerseyFreshLove social media campaign to engage consumers on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram and share the love.
Since it’s launch in 2015, more than 3500 photos with the #JerseyFreshLove tag were shared on Instagram. The number of tweets and Facebook posts is too large to calculate.
This season we’ll be sharing the #JerseyFreshLove after every visit to a Farmers’ Market, each time we visit a restaurant using locally sourced produce and of course when we indulge in the sauces, soups, and treats created by our favorite food crafters.
