Chameleon Cold-Brew Named Best Coffee at BevNET’s Best of 2015 Awards
Austin's Original Cold-Brew Brand & Category Pioneer Continues to Earn Accolades for its Air-Roasted Offerings

Chameleon Cold-Brew, the Austin-based purveyor of the nation’s original bottled cold-brew coffee, was awarded Best Coffee at BevNET’s Best of 2015 live event in Santa Monica, Calif. Chameleon Cold-Brew is committed to sourcing, roasting and brewing the highest-quality beans for its lineup of ready-to-drink coffees and coffee concentrates. In March 2015, Chameleon added three new ready-to-drink flavors to its lineup, Mexican Coffee, Chicory Coffee and Espresso Coffee, which are now available at retailers nationwide.
“We are truly honored to be recognized as a BevNET Best of 2015 award winner,” said Chris Campbell, co-founder and CEO of Chameleon. “It speaks to a greater consumer awareness of the concept of cold-brew coffee, which is encouraging for us as a brand. Our key differentiators, such as small-batch air roasting and 16-hour brew time in Texas Hill Country water, help set us apart in a highly competitive set. We aim to continue to provide a simple yet refined product that allows consumers to make the most out of their coffee.”
This is Chameleon’s third consecutive year to be recognized by BevNET; the company took home “Best Coffee” in 2014 and “Best Mix, Concentrate or Powder” for its original line of cold-brew concentrates in 2013.
According to data from Mintel, cold-brew coffee sales are expected to reach $7.9 million through 2015, a 115 percent year over year leap. Chameleon is staking its claim in the market by offering inventive flavors of cold-brew that are big on buzz, easy on the stomach, easily customizable with creamer, and can be enjoyed hot or chilled.
