White Castle® Debuts Turkey Dinner Slider, A Holiday Meal On A Bun

Newest variation of the White Castle Slider is perfect for the Craver on the go

White Castle, America’s first fast food hamburger chain known for The Original Slider® debuted a new trio of delectable Turkey Sliders, featuring Butterball® Turkey burgers, just in time for the holiday season. Like all Thanksgiving celebrations, the featured turkey menu items are complemented by tasty traditional sides like Sweet Potato Waffle Fries and the refreshing Cranberry Spritzer with Sprite®. The new menu items are now available in White Castle restaurants.

The Turkey Slider trio features the Turkey Dinner Slider – a Butterball® turkey burger topped with crispy Sweet Potato Waffle Fries and tangy cranberry sauce on White Castle’s legendary bun. Other variations include the Bistro Turkey Slider, which features a Butterball® turkey burger topped with a tangy Bistro Sauce, and finally, the Cranberry Turkey Slider – a Butterball® turkey burger, topped with cranberry sauce.

As part of the Thanksgiving celebration, White Castle and its philanthropic program Castle Shares will again partner with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® campaign to raise money to fight childhood hunger. Three-percent of pre-tax sales from each Turkey Slider sold from November 8, 2015December 5, 2015 will be donated to Share Our Strength, which is striving to end childhood hunger in America by ensuring all children get the healthy food they need every day. White Castle will contribute a minimum of $10,000and a maximum of $15,000 during this promotion.

“For the second straight year White Castle and Castle Shares are proud to partner with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign to raise awareness and raise funds to combat childhood hunger,” said Richardson. “At White Castle, we take our involvement in community causes seriously. White Castle is always looking to add new Craver favorites to the menu to meet the evolving tastes of its customers. The chefs in the White Castle test kitchen have created some popular new menu items over the last couple of years, including the Belgian Waffle breakfast sandwiches and the Veggie Slider that have gone on to become some of our most in-demand items.
