Wayne, owner of Burt’s Mountain Honey, is back this Sunday after tending to all his hives and gathering more healthy sweet honey to bring to our market. Burt’s Mountain Honey also carries Breezie Maple organic maple syrup… a taste of the “real stuff” and you’re sure to be hooked.
Indigo Cherry Drops and Purple Kakoa tomatoes were only a few of the fine organic tomatoes available from Blooming Hill Farms last Sunday. We’re sure Guy Jones will have more and more as the season peaks. Matarazzo Farm, Orchards of Concklin and Madura Farm‘s tables are jam packed with summer produce – sweet corn, eggplant, squash, nectarines, peaches, plums, melons, …we can go on and on! This is the season for all your fresh, local fruits and vegetables.
Bounty Craft Granola had an outstanding day at the market last visit and we know why… Nicole’s small batch handcrafted granolas are truly fantastic.
Aunt Vicky’s Bickys says every Sunday is a “dog day” at your Ramsey Farmers’ Market where you can treat your four legged buddies to little handmade goat shaped treats with goat cheese and mint or tiny little rabbit shaped treats with carrots and parsley and so much more.
Yes, Anahata Cacao is back with Melanie’s fantastic “bean to bar” organic and free trade chocolate bars. Melanie and Ray will gladly hold your bars while you shop the market. The line was long, but well worth the wait, for Stella’s Empanadas. Not to worry, Stella’s is backthis Sunday. Remember school opens for so many next week and these stuffed pockets are perfect anytime.
Last week Country Lane Cheezecake sold out early. We just loved their new variety packs, including Chocolate Chip Mint and Kettle Cooked Caramel cheesecakes, and don’t forget to try their Strawberries- filled with cheesecake and hand dipped in chocolate. Outstanding.
It promises to be a warm day at the market and we will have water for your pet, but please remember that an air temperature of 86 degrees equates to an asphalt temperature of 135 degrees. It just may be too hot for their tender paws.
