The indoor winter season for the non-profit Ramsey Farmers’ Market ends on Sunday, March 29th from 10AM-2PM at the Eric Smith School located at 73 Monroe St. Ramsey, NJ.
Over 25 local farmers and food purveyors will offer outstanding, fresh, local seasonal vegetables and fruits, including organic, artisan breads and fine cheeses, homemade pastas, sauces and soups, organic prepared salads, gourmet olive oils and balsamic vinegar, fresh fish directly from the Hampton Bays, gluten free baked goods and prepared foods, kombucha, green juices, local honey, free range eggs, spices, exotic mushrooms, artisanal teas, pickles and jams, alpaca wear, pasture raised antibiotic and steroid free meats, apple cider and much, much more.
Patrons will want to stock up on their favorites and speak to the farmers and food vendors for purchasing options, while the market closes for the months of April and May to prepare for opening day of the outdoor market season. The ever popular Strawberry Festival will kickoff the outdoor market season on Sunday, June 7th from 9AM-2PM at the Main Street train station in Ramsey and be held every Sunday through November.
